Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi ? as per the title webp images are not being served.. Ive created a log which shows the error (I think) ? extract below & info.. Not sure that the webp images are actually being created: Images total: 21280 images Congratulations, all requested! Optimisation Summary Total Reduction: ? Images Pulled: ? Last Request: ? LiteSpeed Media->replace_webp(https://openstudiosayrshire.com/AZSXDC/wp-content/uploads/vfb/2019/10/Christine-Fremantle-Mermaid-10)@851 => LiteSpeed Media->_replace_buffer_img_webp()@740 => LiteSpeed Media->_finalize()@465 => LiteSpeed Media::finalize( I appriciate any assistance / pointers you can proivide: many thanks dave The page I need help with: https://openstudiosayrshire.com/ Hi, Did you enable webp creation BEFORE you start to image optimization ? it says webp file doesnt exist, as matter of fact, original file doesnt exist either https://openstudiosayrshire.com/AZSXDC/wp-content/uploads/vfb/2019/10/Christine-Fremantle-Mermaid-1080%C3%97675.jpg Best regards, Hi ? thanks for the reply: Did you enable webp creation BEFORE you start to image optimization ? I think so.. I usually select all the relevant options, then request the image optimisation. This site has recently been migrated from a non-litespeed server where an alternative image replacment / cache service was used.. is there something I can do to reset the image optimisation and try again? regards dave just spotted : Destroy All Optimisation Data.. will give this a try? Destroy All Optimisation Data ? then ? Gather Image data? After a few minutes: Images total: 21280 images Congratulations, all requested! Unfortunately made no difference.. still doesnt seem to be any Webp images created: Optimisation Summary Total Reduction: ? Images Pulled: ? Last Request: ? nothing showing in media library either? I also noticed that the site doesnt seem to be going through the build-up credits process with the server. Any Ideas? thanks, dave Hi, there is no way you can optimize all 21k images in fraction of time this is more likely to indicate that didnt optimize any I also notice you have path like /AZSXDC/ in your URL , is that by purpose ? how did you do this ? and also please provide the report number , you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click sent to LiteSpeed Best regards, Hi thanks I also notice you have path like /AZSXDC/ in your URL , is that by purpose ? how did you do this ? This has been the folder set up / arrangement since before I took over the site.. dont know why (or how) the previous admin did this.. not caused any problems so far, so I havent changed it. Report number: WXZWYWPA regards dave Hi, I think I might have an idea , but please try something to confirm my theory destory all optimized data , then enable debug log then run iamge optm twice or thrice , then post the log you can post it to https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/ then share the link Best regards, Hopefully I have done this correctly: https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/KvMkqBgRzK/ thanks dave 06/16/21 17:37:27.518 [84.13.151.102:2607 1 Smo] [Img_Optm] bypass image due to file not exist: pid 32106 vfb/2021/02/Sheena-Mills_Untitled-Weave-1-2-150x150.jpeg 06/16/21 17:37:27.518 [84.13.151.102:2607 1 Smo] [Img_Optm] bypass image due to file not exist: pid 32106 vfb/2021/02/Sheena-Mills_Untitled-Weave-1-2-768x778.jpeg now here comes the myth , why it gives path as vfb/2021/xxx ? vfb is a form plugin we use.. Our members (not wordpress users) upload images using this form system. It must create this folder as a sub folder of uploads automatically ? not something I can change as far as I know please try add this into your wp-config.php then destroy and re-try again , see if it helps define( LITESPEED_WP_REALPATH, /AZSXDC ) unfortunately this hasnt made any difference that I can see okay please create a ticket by mail to support at litespeedtech.com we will investigate it further
