Wordpress LScache Plugin: web fonts dont get cached? (max-age not set)
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi again Im working on getting litespeed-cache working properly. To get there, I had the plugin write into a new .htaccess, leaving only some lines for redirecting stuff. I then went to Googles Pagespedd Tools, which reported the web-fonts hadnt a max-age date (and stuff, I have it in german) LSC writes: ExpiresByType font/woff2 A2592000 which doesnt seem to work. But Adding ExpiresByType application/x-font-woff2 access plus 1 year makes it working again (gets through Googles Pagespeed Tool, although the chrome developer-tools state that theyre tagged cache-control:no-cache) Whom should I believe? And anyway, why are my assets (Webfonts, images, etc. tagged that way (cache-control:no-cache)? Thanks again! david The page I need help with: https://davidbraun.ch Hello, I just check your page and i can see for woff2 files (like Uni_Neue-Regular.woff2): cache-control: public, max-age=2592000
