Wordpress LScache Plugin: slow loading time website
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 So yesterday my website was running lighning fast and i was very happy about it. I also installed a child theme because i wanted to learn how to do this. And it all worked good. But today im facing some issues. The loading time on desktop seems fine, but alot slower. The loading speed on mobile is alot worse. sometimes the page doesnt load at all. Also the pagespeed check on google and gt&metrix dont work good. It gives me this error: -Lighthouse returned error: FAILED_DOCUMENT_REQUEST. -Or it gives very random grades, like sometimes 50, then 80 then 60. There is no consistancy at all. I used the gutenberg and astra theme in combination with some plugins to build my website. And i use the Litespeed Cache. I have asked it first in the general wordpress forum. They said it is because of the TTRB on the first access to your site and continue the topic here because i use the litespeed plugin. What could be the reason of this behaviour? a plugin, my webhost (hostinger), or the child theme? This topic was modified 1 year, 9 months ago by luigistefano. The page I need help with: http://natuursteenstefano-online.com 1.) Combine CSS 2.) Combine Javascript 3.) Fix mixed content. You have http and https linked sources. That may cause the issue at Pagespeed/Lighthouse. 4.) Upgrade PHP Version. PHP 7.2 is deprecated 5.) Possible reason for bad TTFB -> Bad peering @CacheCrawler thx! tbh i dont know how to fix these things but i will research it. This gives me a good starting point. Cache plugin has settings to combine CSS and Javascript. Check your images. One of them is linked with http and not https and causes redirection. http://natuursteenstefano-online.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/marble-2371776_1920-minedit10.jpg Bad peering cant be fixed. It is a bad network connection of your host to other networks. Upgrade your hosting and invest in stronger server. The current one needs some steroid?. Atleast a VPS is a must have! Great! Thanks again
