redo image optimisation

Wordpress LScache Plugin: redo image optimisation

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
I changed some options half way through image optimisation.. I want to scrap whats there and totally redo optimisation.. Do I just destroy all optimisation data and wehn I go in again I can start over..?? (undo and redo seem to do something else) Then if I do all of this on my staging site, when I move staging to live, do I need to reset my API key, and nothing else??? Sorry if this is a stupid question?. certainly beginner questions.. cheers, Bruce The page I need help with: https://www.watersportswarehouse.co.za/ Hi, Yes, if you changed some option in the middle of way , you will have to destroy all and re-do it. I am not sure if it is a good idea to do it in staging site then move it back to live site , it may mess the LSCWP image optimization records and cause unforeseeable issue. But if you insist to do it then: 1. clean up unifished data on your live site 2. create a staging site with your current live site 3. change the home URL and site URL in WP setting 4. reset IAPI key 5. destroy all 6. start to optimize again. 7. assuming every file is in same location , now bulk copy-paste or move the images (usually in /wp-content/uploads/) directory. Note: this may result your live sites image optimization information no longer works or showing incorrect data. Best regards, Ive done quite a bit of work on my staging site, including making changes to litespeed settings, etc? But other changes too. What Ill do is1. Finish my changes to staging2. Migrate staging to Live3. reset IAPI key4. Destroy image optimisation data data5. Start the long reoptimising again? Is this the sensible approach??? cheers, Bruce sorry, let me format that a bit better Ive done quite a bit of work on my staging site, including making changes to litespeed settings, etc?
