litespeed + smart slider 3 = slider loading as blank before eventually rendered

Wordpress LScache Plugin: litespeed + smart slider 3 = slider loading as blank before eventually rendered

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
I have a page with smart slider 3 in the home page, and the slider sits comfortably right after the header, certainly above the fold. No matter what settings Ive experimented with, the slider keeps loading as a white rectangle ? definitely allocates the space where it will load eventually ? but it is by far the longest element that loads on the site. Even if I scroll down while it is still on the white state, content below the fold will load before it has a chance to be rendered. After everything has loaded, it will eventually load. I have lazy load enabled, but have explicitly set its parent element (or rather one of its parent elements) added to the exclude element with parent class box, but it appears like it is not working. Hi, please provide the report number , you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click send to LiteSpeed Best regards, Hi, Thanks for the prompt reply. The requested number is RQPZIXKK. Best, Hi, could you please do me a screenshot about that the slider keeps loading as a white rectangle ? definitely allocates the space where it will load eventually ? you mean this ? or something else ? Best regards, Hi, No this is the lazy load effect, and that is the responsive placeholder color. What I mean is this: https://ibb.co/PFYwhvV Using a tool like GTMetrix or Pagespeed Insights the test finishes before the slider has a chance to render, hence it can be previewed. Opening it on mobile directly you can definitely see it happening, and in slower connections you can also see the same behavior in desktop too. Thanks! Edit: This is what it looks like in desktop also: https://ibb.co/NNcV8zq Hi, yes, thats because the images were lazyloaded and also JS are delayed in guest mode page Best regards, Hi, So should I deactivate guest mode entirely then? Both Guest mode and Guest mode optimization options? It is the guest mode options found in the General > General settings we are referring to, correct? Thanks. Hi, you can evaluate the cons and pros on both cases and decide what to do yes, the one in general setting page Best regards, Pefect! Thank you once more!
