Wordpress LScache Plugin: does this mean ls is not caching?
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 hello in wiki it says There are two ways to use LSCWP: 1- Without a LiteSpeed server, and with limited functionality (optimization features only, no cache) https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php/litespeed_wiki:cache:lscwp:installation I dont have Litespeed server, so does this mean it is not caching?? Hi, Yes ,the optimization features are for all , but the Cache funtion is built-in and works on web-server level instead of code level , therefore requires LiteSpeed Webserver or OpenLiteSpeed to work. Best regards, So we cant use as cache plugin? it is like Autoptimize plugin? Hi, In that regards , yes https://wordpress.org/plugins/litespeed-cache/ you can find general feature and lsws feature in above link. Best regards, thanks. so it should be used with a cache plugin, @CacheCrawler? Which one is compatible? Hi, I honestly do not know, I have servers of LiteSpeed and OpenLiteSpeed so I wouldnt bother this, you could also give them a try If you need to use other cache plugin , just make sure you do NOT enable SAME FEATURE on both plugins. it should work with most of them? Best regards, since there is no cache in LSCache, i need to use one cache i guess. I was happy i found one-for-all solution. (short term happiness it turned out. ) Then you could give a litespeed or openlitespeed a try , you wont be disappointed I thought about it but my platform doesnt allow. :/
