Wordpress LScache Plugin: change to header.php not present after clearing LS cache
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi Folks, In our WordPress themes header.php, I have changed: Browse all Layouts to: Browse all Layouts E-book: build your own website using WordPress i.e. I have added a second LI element. Ive cleared the front page in LS Cache Manage, but only the single LI displays at top right of the website. Ive also done a Purge All, and the new LI is still not present. Ive cleared our browser cache and the issue remains. Help appreciated. Steve The page I need help with: https://websites.insightdesign.com.au/ Hi, Please go to Debug tab , there is an option disable all feature for debugging purpose , please try enable that option and see how it goes. I also encountered few times , some themes doesnt reflect the changes when you directly edit the files (typically header or footer) , but has a some settings in theme control to edit it. Best regards, I disabled all features and the problem remains. I gather that means that LS Cache is not to blame? The is hard-coded into the header.php, rather than a theme option, so Im puzzled why the changes dont reflect on the front end. Hi, Yes, if disable all is turned ON , that means the entire LSCWP is deactivated , so there must be something wrong with theme itself. I once encoutnered a theme ,that I changed things in footer.php , but it does NOT reflect in front-end , turns out the theme itself has a management system that controls how footer displays , and I had to do editing there. You maybe encounter the same situation as I did before. Best regards, I went to edit header.php again, and my changes were not present. Making the change again has resolved the issue. Thanks for your assistance.
