Wordpress LScache Plugin: YouTube Embeds

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Since installing litespeed, our embedded youtube links in articles are not showing anymore on the front end. They are still there and visible in the backend editor. The page I need help with: https://penmediainc.com/2019/10/07/meet-navy-veteran-working-to-defeat-maxine-waters-joe-collins/ Hi @lfritz, could you send us the Report Number, found in?WP Admin > LiteSpeed Cache > Report. SLFYWXRW The report number is SLFYWXRW. I had to click send to litespeed to get the number to show. Hi @lfritz, Ive checked the non-cached and non-optm version, the youtube frame also not showing because the height is 0. Are you using ESI or widget on the Youtube embedding? Can you send us a code diff between LiteSpeed Cache plugin ON/OFF on https://www.diffchecker.com/diff? I am using the standard wordpress embed, it worked before litespeed. I would rather not turn the caching plugin off as we get about 1M visitors a month right now. Why would it show normally if the height is 0? Maybe an issue with snax plugin? Eh, not snax actually since its not active. Hi @lfritz, you can see height is 0. As we checked the non-cache and non-optimized version the video also not showing so we cannot confirm the issue is related to our plugin. Can you try to create a new article just with [embed width=123 height=456 ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ[/embed] to see can it show normally? When you hit view html on exisitng embeds you get this: Strange, older article with an embed the same way and it shows fine? https://penmediainc.com/2019/07/30/after-democrats-said-he-was-a-russian-asset-mitch-mcconnell-just-went-berserk-on-the-senate-floor/ @lfritz Please check on the wrapper outside the embedded video https://imgur.com/a/AE3k9Wc, it may affect the element size. As this issue is not related to LiteSpeed Plugin, I will mark it as closed, thanks. This worked fine with 3 editors and only dissapeared when I turned on litespeed. I realize their settings may conflict with how the css is handled, but not sure why we are closing this. This worked perfectly fine without litespeed. I get what youre saying on sizing but something with litespeed is causing this not to be handled well. its probably a timing issue finding the parent element to resize. What does youtube fall under for lazy loading? Images? Iframes? Just FYI, in order to avoid confusion, Im marking this as solved. The conversation, for anyone watching, has moved here. Reason: typo

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
