Wordpress LScache Plugin: You will need to set Domain key to use the online services
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Since an update, why do I keep getting an annoying message keep popping up in my Admin panel You will need to set Domain key to use the online services ? I dont even use any of the image optimisations like (QUIC Cloud) in Litespeed Cache, I use another plugin for my images. How can I turn the pop-up off? Hi, Did you enable any feature like CCSS , responsive placeholder or LQIP ? Best regards, The settings havent been changed since the site was launched weeks ago. Have no idea what CCSS , responsive placeholder or LQIP is or where to check! Thanks Hi, It should be in Page Optimization ?> CSS setting , and Media setting. Best regards, Okay, have taken a look there, none of the ones you mention CCSS , responsive placeholder or LQIP ? are turned on. We are using CSS Minify. But none of these have been touched since when we werent seeing this popup, it only started after the last update. Thanks. Hi, Please check if in General ?> notification is on or off , please set it to off as well. Best regards, Turning off all notifications is that the fix? lol Is that a good idea? Stopped the popup anyway for the time being, thanks. Hi, Well, notification depends on domain key to work properly. This notification is refer to LSCWPs notification , wont affect your other notification if you have any. Best regards, Not here to hijack the topic, but I had the same issue, got repeated notices about setting the domain key. Reading this topic I finally found what I think was my issue the Generate LQIP In Background was set to On (no idea why). I would prefer if there just was an on/off switch on the General Settings to not use any of the online services, instead of having to hunt for some stray settings. Yep, me too, this has obviously changed in a recent update! Wasnt there up until a week or so ago! TIA, Dave Im getting the notice in a straight up fresh install of the plugin before setting up any options. I found and disabled Generate LQIP In Background (which was set to ON as default), but that didnt fix it. Image optimization was also on by default, I turned that off too. Still get the notice.
