Wordpress LScache Plugin: WooCommerce stock level question

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi all, I had a question about about WooCommerce product stock levels after an order is placed. Ive done some testing where I have a Stock quantity of 3 and I purchase 2 of them. After the checkout is complete, the amount within my admin / woocommerce area states 1 left which is correct, but the amount still is listed as 3 when browsing the same item from a different system. Purging cache dose solve the issue, but is it possible for this to automatically update the stock levels after a purchase is made? I really dont want to manually purge pages after an item sells. Ill also note that when attempting to buy more than 1 of the same item after the test sale, it would give a message stating theres not enough stock which is correct. Thanks all. In LiteSpeed Cache Settings, look for the box labeled Cookie List, and enter woocommerce_items_in_cart in the box. Theres more information here, if you need it. Let us know if you still have a problem! Lisa @ LiteSpeed @richpags I just re-read your question, and I realized that I originally misread it. The issue is with the items displayed stock after checkout, not the cart display. I think you can safely disregard my previous advice. The plugin developer will have other ideas he can suggest shortly. Sorry about that, Lisa Hi @richpags, You are right it should be purged automatically. That is what cache is supposed to do. When you checkout, it will send a purge request to the product page automatically. If you turn on debug log, you will see it. If you didnt get purged, please tell us more details, so we can have a look at it. Thanks, Hai Hi @lclarke, Thanks for the reply and info. Im using the Generate Press theme with standard WooCommerce. Even with that rule in place, the amount within the product page still remains at 3, even though the quaintly of 2 were ordered. So stock should of changed to 1. As mentioned, purging the cache dose fix this, but its not really ideal. Cheers Richie Can you check your setting WooCommerce Configuration in LiteSpeed Cache Settings? If the Product Update Interval is not Purge product on changes to the quantity or stock status. Purge categories only when stock status changes. or Always purge both product and categories on changes to the quantity or stock status., it will not purge when quantity changes. Thanks to all for the info and responses. My current WooCommerce Product Update Interval is set to: Purge product on changes to the quantity or stock status. Purge categories only when stock status changes. Cheers Richie Can you give a link so we can try to reproduce it? Hi @hailite, Ive put the Eway (credit card) payment method into Sanbox mode so feel free to test it out. Test credit card you can use is bellow Card number: 4444 3333 2222 1111 Any expiry date will work any 3 digit sec code will work. Site: reelmovieposters.com.au Cheers Richie Yes looks like on your site it cant purge automatically. Can you please create a ticket to give us the wp-admin and ssh access so we can figure it out? hi @hailite, Thanks for testing it out. Funny enough, after you made the order, i jumped on the site and noticed that the item you bought was listed as out of stock Can i create a ticket via the litespeed site? I can sort out temp wp admin login details tomorrow. Cheers Richie Yes you can see its out of stock because you are logged in, v1.1.3 didnt have ESI yet, so logged in user will see no cache page. Please send the email to bug@litespeedtech.com, it will create a tix automatically. Hai hi @hailite, Thanks heaps. Temp login details have been sent through. Richie Issue is fixed. The fix will be included in next release. v1.1.4.1. Thanks heaps for the help. Richie
