Wordpress LScache Plugin: Why does Litespeed plugin slows down my site?
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi. I have Cloud hosting at Hostinger who provides Litespeed Business plan out of the box. What I learned recently is that on my specific website, simply activating the plugins actually slows down my website. I can swith off every possible option from Litespeed Plugin, it still adds around 0.7 seconds on GTMetrix. Am I doing something very wrong? The page I need help with: http://tapnfab.com Hi, Please check with your provider the cache is not working properly on your site you should see x-litespeed-cache:hit here , but it didnt , thats the issue. Please kindly ask them for further help , at this point , its server-level issue , we can not fix it on plugin-level Best regards, Thank you so much for your promptly assistance. I requested help to Hostinger who is looking into the issue. I will come back to you to share. `Apparently, I will be stuck between your explaination and that from Hostinger for awhile. http://minolight.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/litespeed2.jpg Hi, well , please try ask for escalation to a senior staff there? and send him this and ask them to help you to get this x-litespeed-cache: hit header to show up Best regards, Hi. Just quick update. So obviously the person at Hostinger doesnt know much about Litespeed as for her, hit or miss header not showing is basically a none issue. That have been said, I tried to associate a new domain to the same server where Im seeing issues and created a new WP installation. Apparently, On this fresh installation only with WP and Litespeed, Im getting the header I want to see. http://www.luxiris.com So probably not a server issue but may be some configuration problem? Hi, this site has cache hit Best regards, Despite your help and all the fuss with Hostinger, I didnt manage to get it working. I will have to go see Rocket WP even if Im convinced that Litespeed would have been a more performant choice. i will come back to check with litespeed from time to time but once the website is online, it would be quite difficult to replace our caching plugin. Pity? Hi, Try this 1. disable and re-enable , see how it goes 2. disable it , add CacheLookup on RewriteRule . - [E=Cache-Control:max-age=120] to top of your .htaccess check the front-page , see if it gets cache header if so , remove these 2 lines , re-enable the plugin , see how it goes if above 2 cases failed , you may need to check with your provider as this may requires server access to further debug Best regards, Hi. I followed your instructions and unfortunately with no avail. I will have to keep using Rocket WP until my provider presents a viable update on the matter. That have been said, it is quite weird as luxiris.com and tapnfab.com are both hosted on a same server and one is getting hit and the other fails to work correctly. Thank you anyway for your effort and help.
