Wordpress LScache Plugin: Webp works, but not on all images
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi, I use Litespeed Cache on all my websites and its definitely the best plugin out there. I am new to the whole image optimization part of the plugin, but i have read all your documentation on the subject. The problem is that even though i have optimized all my images in the image optimization part of the plugin, then all my images arent showing as webp formats. I have checked all my images in the media folder and they all have the webp icon available. Why is only some of them showing as webp? The page I need help with: https://dingaveguide.dk/ HI @tobiasdahl, may I have an example for which image did not get replaced? On the front page for example there is this picture which wont load as webp: https://www.dropbox.com/s/48j0uxp86s12tba/Screenshot_20190515-170842_Chrome.jpg?dl=0 We found /wp-content/uploads/2018/09/imerco-karklude-630x363.jpg.webp does not exist on your site, could you please check to Media > Library > List View to see is that image has webp optimised on LiteSpeed Optimization column. Hi Stanley, thank you for your quick answer. It seems like it is optimized already: http://tinyurl.com/y2mkszno Hi, Try reset optimization for that particular image and re-optimize it Because this link is still giving 404 https://dingaveguide.dk/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/imerco-karklude-630?363.jpg.webp Best regards, Ruikai. Hi, I have tried to do that for all my images. I simply pressed Destroy all optimization data and started over. All images display as optimized in the plugin however, it doesnt seem right in the frontend. There are still lots of images loading in both .png and .jpg. Many of the images performance icons are a bit dimmed out: http://tinyurl.com/y4tncpeu Does that explain the problem? Do you know what to do about it? Best Regards Tobias Hi, In some case, the dimmed out icon means this part of image was failed to optimize. Could you please submit a ticket here with few of these images attach so we can check ? Best regards,
