Wordpress LScache Plugin: Webp not working after update
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi, After update the webp is not working anymore. any advice ? Cheers Seo by Yoast Update Crash My Web? @elevas33 what has that to do with webp from Litespeed ? I dont know, I just know that I have updated both plugins at the same time and Seo by yoast has cracked my site, I thought it was lite speed but it has been seo by yoast. @elevas33 yes maybe but why you put that in my question ? Is the same as i tell tomorrow i have a BBQ that has nothing to do with yoast Im sorry I read it wrong and misunderstood, I thought that since the last update your website was not working anymore and the same thing had just happened to me when I updated Lite Speed and Seo By Yoast, being the fault of the latter. It has been a misunderstanding, I hope you solve your issue soon a greeting. Hi, You mean the webp are not being replaced any more ? Please try purge all and check again. Best regards, Hi @CacheCrawler Yes that is what i mean. I did purge all but did not had any effect. But i see now he is redoing all the Webp very strange. (have 4000 images and see now on 1 that is webp and also showing als webp) Is that normal behaviour after the update ? Cheers @CacheCrawler hold on looks like they are getting back. very strange but see the a lot are now again using webp. Will let you know if all is done. Hi, OK , this must be weird Please keep us posted if that happens again , we will check. Best regards, @CacheCrawler found and my mistake as they made a new front page and by coincident this are new products (is online shop) This images are not updated to webp and the admin panel say all is done. Looks like about 150 png product images. Is there a way to get them also as webp ? or what could be the reason this ones are not done? Cheers Hi, Based on my experienced , certain images may not be able to generate webp typically , if webp is larger then original , it will be dropped or certain color-profile setting that may result wbep generation failed. Please go to Media page , reset one or few of these images in request and then re-do them , see how it goes. Best regards, hi @CacheCrawler that did the trick i reset a few and did request and now they are webp. Now the challenge is that i have about 300 images or more is there any faster way then go one by one ? Complete reset means 2800 images Cheers Hi, Im sorry to say at this moment I dont have any better solution rather than destory all and re-optimize if you have a lot of images that needs to be reset. I will suggest the developers for such issue. Best regards, @CacheCrawler removed them manually and all are now webp. Think there is a option that generate the webp and that was off. No idea how this happend so each new one was not rendered as webp But all is working and good now. Thanks for the tip Glad to know it works now
