Wordpress LScache Plugin: Webp not produced if image filename ends in ?
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 The plugin is working great at converting my JPG and PNG files to WebP. But it doesnt convert files named foo-.jpg All the other files on my site have converted apart from ones with that style of filename. It also seems it doesnt convert files named foo.jpeg ? is there any way to add that file extension? Hi, [root@server1 12]# ls test--100x100.jpeg test--1023x1536.jpeg.webp test--400x400.jpeg test--533x800.jpeg.webp test-.bk.jpeg test--100x100.jpeg.webp test--300x300.jpeg test--400x400.jpeg.webp test--800x800.bk.jpeg test-.jpeg test--1023x1536.bk.jpeg test--300x300.jpeg.webp test--533x800.bk.jpeg test--800x800.jpeg test-.jpeg.webp test--1023x1536.jpeg test--400x400.bk.jpeg test--533x800.jpeg test--800x800.jpeg.webp tested and works with file name like test-.jpeg I think your case is generated webp file is larger than origin , so automatically dropped as no point to keep it Best regards,
