Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hello. I have a landing page made with elementor and webp images are not being served on it (except for the logo which belongs to the theme itself. The header was not made with elementor). It seems to be working fine on the other pages. Report: WHJIJTDR What should i do? Thanks in advance! The page I need help with: https://fineartretouch.com.br I think its just not working on backgrounds. And i know it is currently suposed to happen. Sorry about that. Hi, If your images are background , then currently LSCWP can not replace it to webp. We are working on improvement about this. Best regards, Hi Dear lite-speed team waiting for support elementor webp Hi, Any news regarding this issue? Elementor is one of the most famous site builders out there and having our pages load slowly because we cannot use modern image compression is making the whole concept of LSC an oxymoron. Regards. there is partial workaround , if you want to give it a try https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/forum/threads/section-background-images-in-elementor-not-being-changed-to-webp.17532/#post-112934 I am using your Quic.cloud CDN service so this wont work if i understood correctly, which is a shame since i really like your ecosystem. Whats the point of all this speed and optimization you offer when half of my site serves unnecessary large files? Hopefully you will fix this soon. I would like to report that it is working with the Quic.cloud CDN. Cheers! Hi, @roccinio could you please provide the report number ? I would like to run some check as well Best regards, Is there a way to pm you? Wouldnt like to share it here publicly. Regards Hi, You can click send to LiteSpeed , then give me that 8 digital string like OP does then only me and other LiteSpeed staffs can see that information. Best regards,
