Wordpress LScache Plugin: WP-Postratings triggering Auto Purge
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi, It seems that whenever a visitor rates a WordPress Post, it triggers an Auto Purge on all WordPress Pages (e.g. Homepage, Privacy Policy, Contact Us, etc). I am using WP-Postratings, which is on the compatible plugins list. My site has relatively high traffic, and each time a Post is rated by someone, it is causing Pages to be purged. So my Homepage (and other Pages) are being purged many times each day. Curiously, the ratings do NOT cause Term archives to be purged, although Front Page + Homepage + Pages + Term archives are selected on the Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update settings. Is there a way to prevent Pages from being purged each time a post is rated? It would be better if only the post in question is purged. This topic was modified 1 year, 7 months ago by nicks89. Hi, The post is not listed on the homepage. The homepage uses Elementor to display the latest 6 posts plus the most-viewed 6 posts (neither of which contain the post in question). I do not use a recent posts widget.
