Wordpress LScache Plugin: V4.0 Not Picking Up Tuning Settings
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 I saw that V4.0 was on the master so downloaded and tried it on my site however there seems to be some issue. All I did was an update to V4.0 didnt touch any of the settings and it broke my site, header banner wasnt appearing and not working. The only thing I can think of is that the tuning excludes to not cache or change certain files isnt working. Im using Uncode and as per their docs you have to exclude the following paths, which is there at the moment but on V4.0 it seems to not pick this up and break the theme /wp-content/themes/uncode/library/js/init.js /wp-content/themes/uncode/library/js/min/init.min.js /wp-content/themes/uncode/library/js/ai-uncode.js /wp-content/themes/uncode/library/js/min/ai-uncode.min.js https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017231458-Speed-up-your-site-with-a-cache-plugin Ive gone back to the stable WP live version of the plugin for now as everything works, however just thought Id mention it to hopefully have a look into When you are on v4, you can turn on Guest Mode, and keep the JS optimize options all to OFF. Just tried again and had the Guest Mode option in General turned to on and then went to Page turned off JS settings, cleared the cache and still the same issue So rolling back to 3.6.4 as something is picking up the tuning settings to not cache or change files added to the excluded section. As when I look at the Inspect tool in Chrome using V4.0 I have around 30 errors because JS files needed for the site cant be reached. So there has to be more than just this Guest mode or the settings for Guest arent working right?? Hi, Could you please provide the report number with v4 ? you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click send to LiteSpeed Best regards, Which version would you like me try the Dev or the Master, as Ive seen theres been a few changes on the dev branch since my first issue was raised Thanks please try the dev first Okay Ill try that tomorrow and send over the report. So turn the guest mode to ON and then the JS settings within the Page Optimisation to OFF Is that the right understanding ? yes , please try that way first Tried and still having 20+ errors on the inspector console and site isnt loading as it should Guest mode ON Page JS OFF Sent the report Report number: JWSKNCRR Report date: 05/19/2021 10:47:46 Going to have to roll back to the stable version again please create a ticket by mail to support at litespeedtech.com we will investigate it further.
