Wordpress LScache Plugin: Use my own 404 page.

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
I would like to use my theme generated 404 page instead of the standard Litespeed one. Either that or customize the Litespeed 404. I have looked for answers, and only saw a solution from 2018 that seems to no longer apply. I use CPanel on my updated WordPress site. How do I do this please? Kathryn Edit your .htaccess and add: ErrorDocument 404 /error_404.php # change pathname at your choice. http(s)://www..... is not supported!Notice: If you have cpanel and if you use your own 404 page you will get error entries for missing 404.shtml for each ressource that can be found because error handling is Apache controlled and Apache expects a 404.shtml. A wellknown issue but nobody feels responsible for it. Neiter cPanel nor LiteSpeed. To prevent error entries, setup a blank 404.shtml and place it in the root directory of your domain.

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
