Wordpress LScache Plugin: Update 3.5 no longer displays product images
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Immediately after the update to 3.5 my product images stopped showing on product pages. Only shows a grey box. If I right-click and show image in new tab the image is visible. Ive purged all cache, no change. Disabled the litespeed cache plugin, product images immediately began showing again. Not sure if this helps or related, but when I inspect the page I see this error: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ) b82b9.js:17 This error doesnt appear when I disable the plugin. Please kindly try to disable JS combine and CSS combine. @hailite Thanks, this version seems to have introduced a problem with JS combine. Leaving CSS combine on and only disabling JS combine allows the images to be displayed. Enabling JS combine introduces the problem again. When you have JS combine on w/ the new version, prolly you are encountering a JS error in your console. You will need to exclude some JS. A common one is jquery as new version dropped the seperate jquery exclude option. You will need to put jquery into your JS exclude setting. Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this! We indeed see some issues that were working hard to resolve. The new version 3.5.0.2 should have fixed these issues, or if you can perform the two steps: ? Turn off all CSS/js/page optimization options ? Purge the cache for the site Once again sorry for the issues caused! Let me know if the above helps! In this version, I added a backward compatibility option JS Combine External and Inline default to OFF, which will give the sites which have been optimized in v3.4.2 better compatibility. That is to say, hopefully you wont see any page layout broken when upgrading from v3.4.2 to v3.5.x anymore. You can easily try it by LiteSpeed wp-admin menu Toolbox -> Beta Test, then type the latest commit link listed on https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/commits/master .
