Wordpress LScache Plugin: Unable to generate LQIP since 4.2
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi, it seems that since 4.2 LSCWP is unable to generate LQIP for my site. The site is linked to QUIC.cloud services OK, the cron works but all images are being added to LQIP exclude list automatically. The threshold is set to 150?150 and there are no other excludes. It used to work fine with previous versions. Also Im within LQIP limit (130 / 500). Ive used the dev version before, so maybe theres something conflicting in DB or LSCWP files? Can I do a fresh install of LSCWP with full database cleanup related to the plugin? The page I need help with: https://szmigiel.design/en/blog/ Hi, Please check again. It should be fine now. I saw many timed out errors just now, but theyre all cleared now. Status is OK . Regards. Apparently it didnt help. Im still seeing excludes after clearing the cache and trying again. Perhaps its firewall related? That would be strange as Ive whitelisted all QUIC IPS. Hi, Yes, youre right. I must be a firewall issue. Our cloud server IP list gets updated in realtime, so you need to make sure your whitelist is updated to our current list on the nodes where those images reside ( https://api.quic.cloud/ips ) for both incoming and outgoing connections whenever you encounter an issue like this. The images urls that are automatically added to the excludes box all have a 404 error. Regards. @finebyme it depends on your site and enviroment if you have security plugin like WordFence , you need to white list the IP there, a server usually comes with a firewall and mod_security as well , need to whitelist in them as well , but this part you may need to contact your hosting provider if you are using shared hosting. Ive got a confirmation from my hosting provider that IPs are not blocked and QUIC is able to download images without problems via GET. Well try to investigate the pushing process. How its being done on the QUIC part? How are LQIP or other data pushed to the server? This is interesting as the list of excludes consists mostly of .webp files. There are some pngs too but this is weird ? shouldnt QUIC optimise originals instead? https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/blob/1925822247caacbc76538b5894c6e70622f016ab/src/placeholder.cls.php#L418 The webp postfix is dropped before sending request. It is not something to be done by QC side. Plugin did it. It seems that v4.3 fixed the issue. LQIP are being processed and downloaded ok.
