Wordpress LScache Plugin: The lazy load placeholder is bigger than the actual image

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi, I am very new to the LiteSpeed cache plugin. I tried the lazy loading for images and it works well. But, the lazy load place holder (gray color) is bigger in size than my images. It looks like the place holder color dimension is square and my image size is a rectangle. Is there any way to fix the placeholder size. It is very weird when the image is loading..Please play the gif file. https://imgur.com/I8SMKZW Thank you in Advance. Kind Regards Hi, Could you please provide the report number ? Best regards, @CacheCrawler what report number? I didnt get you! or Is there any way to disable the place holder? The Report Number can be found in WP Admin > LiteSpeed Cache > Toolbox > Report. Press the Send to LiteSpeed button and then let us know what is displayed in the Report Number area. Thanks! Sent! Thank you. Best regards, Report Number: YAGQGOCP Hi, Could you please try enable Responsive Placeholder , purge all , and see how it goes ? Best regards, There is an update for this plugin when I visit wp-admin. After the update, I got this message There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. and all the tab and option in this plugin are gone. I cant even deactivate the plugin. I used save mode to deactivate the plugin and reinstalled it. I think it is working fine for now. If no one from the community faces the same problem. It might be a problem in my setting or something? The gray place holder thing is still loading on a bigger size than the image.
