Wordpress LScache Plugin: The js files generated by litespeed cache take up huge hard disk space

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Yesterday I found the files in /var/www/html/wp-content/litespeed/js/ occupied more than 1.2g disk space. This shocked me. 3 hours after I flushed LiteSpeeds cache, those files grew to 700m again. So is this normal? If not how to solve it? BTW, someone reminded me about this https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/ts-optimize/#disk-space-filling-fast , but my version of LiteSpeed Cache is 4.6. please provide the report number you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click send to LiteSpeed The report number is TGJMHLLO. BTW the js files just growth fills up hard drive again, so I empty cache and disable the JS Combine External and Inline option temporarily. are you sure its JS file ? from report I only see you have enabled JS minify , that should not generate such large size , but you do have CSS inline/external combine I just disable the JS Combine External and Inline option before I send the report to you. please check this page , we have updated the doc.

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
