Wordpress LScache Plugin: TTFB +500ms after LS Cache plugin activation
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello, Im using LiteSpeed plugin on a Woocommerce website on a shared LiteSpeed server with SSD. Im having problem with the TTFB so I tried to deactivate all plugins and then I re-activated each one, one a time. I discovered that your WordPress plugin ? with default settings ? is slowing down the TTFB of 500ms! I measured it with Bytecheck tool and the slow down value is an average of 3 measurements. Is this normal? Is this a plugin problem? Thank you very much Hi, Could you please provide report number ? Best regards, Yes, this is the report nr: YEEMQMHE The homepage of my site isnt visible to unregistered user, if you need an account Ill create it for you! Thank you Hi, by Bytecheck tool, do you mean http://www.bytecheck.com ? Best regards, Yesss do you need that I remove the maintenance page (and to purge the cache) so you could try by yourself? Thanks Hi, What do you see TTFB with LSCWP on , and with LSCWP off? I am not exactly sure how it measures it, because if I test https://www.google.com with it, it says Google has TTFB like 500 ? 600 ms , while my chrome only indicates 200-ish ms with DNS lookup , SSL connection ?etc Best regards, With Bytecheck: only the WAITING 423 ms without LSCWP and 923 with LSCWP. TTFB with Chrome (and purged cache): 1.33 with LSCWP, 1.0/1.1 without. Best regards Hi, Could you please submit a ticket? we will need to investigate it deeper. Best regards, Wrote! Thank you!
