Wordpress LScache Plugin: Strange problem with home page caching
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi team. For over a year i used LiteSpeed Web Server in version 5.2.2. and all works fine. On the last update of cpanel, demand to update LWS t? version 5.3.6, so it will be upgraded to its latest version. I select 5.3.6, i restart the litespeed and then a very strange problem with home page caching appears. After a while, the home page of my site (only on desktops) doesnt load. On mobile devices the home page loading normally. All others pages loading normally, both in desktop and mobile devices. I selected to Cache Mobile separately from the settings of LiteSpeed Cache wordpress plugin (2.9.4.1). This bug fixed only if i restart LWS fron cpanel. Then, home page on desktops works normally for a while, and then the bug appears again and the home page didnt loading. Also, the bugs appears only to visitors (non logged-in users) of my site. The home page works/load normally to logged-in users. The bugs appears and if i select LWS v5.3.5. I cant select the v5.2.2 because if i do, appears 403 error to all pages on my site. As a temporary solution i have chosen not to cache the home page of my website. Hi, Now please add it into exclude cache as well , and verify that your homepage that you see x-litespeed-cache: no-cache header , and see how it goes. Best regards, as i wrote on my first post, i have already do this (not caching homepage, Do Not Cache URIs /$ on tab 4), but isnt the solution. i want to server cached homepage Hi, Yes, its not solution , its just testing and checking first so we can determinate where the issue from. Do you have any pattern to trigger it ? or it just happens randomly in time ? Also recently LSWS 5.3.7 and LSCWP 2.9.5 are released, please update them. Best regards, @CacheCrawler the issue appears randomly, after 5-15 minutes when i restart the litespeed web server. As a temprorary solution, i install one more cache plugin (w3 fastest cache) and i set to to cache only the homepage. I just updated to the latest versions (LSWS 5.3.7 and LSCWP 2.9.5) and i test if they fix the issue.
