Wordpress LScache Plugin: Stop auto-updating LS Cache from V2.9.9.2 to V3.2

(wp-admin.php xhr requests dont get cached) We want to keep using V2.9.9.2 until we solve this issue. (V2.9.9.2 works great) But the plugin auto-updates to the latest version every night and I need to manually re-install the old version afterwards. I already have this in my functions.php but it still auto-updates overnight. Is there a solution for this ?
