Wordpress LScache Plugin: Some fonts are not working e.g. child theme
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 The following requests are returning 404/410 responses. Either fix the broken links, or remove the references to the non-existent resources. The font that my child theme uses is not working and also any fonts the parent them use. Google fonts work fine as far as I can see. In my child theme I use this in the style sheet: @font-face font-family: as_speedwayregular src: url(fonts/ays_speedway_font_by_angelesart-webfont.woff2) format(woff2), url(fonts/ays_speedway_font_by_angelesart-webfont.woff) format(woff) font-weight: normal font-style: normal font-display: fallback I also notice that on the website front the LiteSpeed icon is broken as well in the admin bar. How to fix please. The page I need help with: https://websitescreated.com.au/ Hi, I am not exactly sure what you meant. what request returning 404/410 ? and by LiteSpeed icon you mean as the one in admin-bar ? could you please provide a screenshot for above mentioned issues ? best regards, Yes I mean the admin bar and also the icon font and word Websites are missing the local font that is in the child theme and parent theme style sheet. Hope this image shows you what I mean. Image to show difference I also have a problem with gmetrix showing the 404/410 for these fonts that are missing: Gmetrix showing local fonts missing Lastly I have a problem not seeing changes in firefox. If I go to Chrome and use incognito then I see the changes otherwise it shows me the old cache not how it is actually looking for new viewers. I purge everything and I remove my browser cache and cookies but nothing changes. I am using Divi and Hide Wp. Thanks The other thing that keeps happening is that when logged in I cant view my logo and header navigation it keeps disappearing so I have no idea if it is a problem or not as purge cache does nothing meaning I have to always go and check in icognito mode, very frustrating. Hi, if you check the page without LSCWP, you see see these fonts URL are actually like https://your_domain.com/designs/core/admin/fonts/modules.ttf but when you enabled LSCWP, you see it as https://your_domain.com/wp-content/themes/Divi/core/admin/fonts/modules.ttf thats why you see them 404/4100. May I know that if you are using anything plugin or rewrite rule that alters URL or changes URL ? also please check export your current setting and reset LSCWP back to default , and see how it goes. Best regards, Yes I am using a plugin that rewrites the admin url, theme and plugin urls. It is WP Hide. I have done a reset and all seems to be working for now, hope that changes I make are visible straight away instead of having to check every minor change in multiple browsers. How often should you flush the cache and should you purge all often? Thanks for your help. Hi, You could try reach WP hide support , the ideal way to rewrite URL , should not make it 404 or 410 , should at least 301 or 302 to that request. Usually you dont need to flush cache , only when you made some configuration change Best regards,
