Wordpress LScache Plugin: Slow Response Times
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello, my site is VERY slow in response times (speed checks of gtmetrix) for example. Please help. I sent a report via Toolbox Report number: BKESVJIM Report date: 10/17/2022 14:19:57 The page I need help with: https://esx-scripts.com Whenever you check your page with Gtmetrix or any similiar services disable Guestmode and this you should read: https://blog.litespeedtech.com/2021/06/01/guest-mode-for-wordpress-in-lscwp-v4-0/ Thannks for the fast reply @CacheCrawler Why do I receive a First Time Byte warning ? I really dont understand. I use Cloudflare before the webserver Please check here https://gtmetrix.com/reports/esx-scripts.com/ggMZlKHS/ x-litespeed-cache miss And when I test again, I receive a good result. But always, after some minutes, if I try again, its a bad result loading 5 secs And when I test again, I receive a good result. Simple answer. This is what a page cache is good for. Optimizations only speeds up the display time, but also the loading time. Gtmetrix and other similiar services not only checks the display time and thats why you need a page cache. FYI: Loading time is the time to load all data from server. Display time is the time that starts if all data have been loaded from server to display the data. Paradox? Yes, it seems to be, but this is the common missunderstanding about page speed. You can have a horrible loading time, but a good display time, but you get a high score. If you have a fast loading time, but a bad display time you get a bad score, although your page loads faster. @CacheCrawler thanks!
LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
