Wordpress LScache Plugin: Reduce unused javascript

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi LiteSpeed Cache community, I am trying to speed up mobile view of my website. Google PageSpeed says I need to reduce unused JavaScript. Is this possible with LiteSpeed Cache? Ive tried turning on generate UCSS, but it breaks the top menu bar of my website, causing its background to disappear. (Also not sure if this setting would even reduce unused JavaScript.) Any help is greatly appreciated, especially streamlined for someone totally illiterate with all of this. Thank you, Richard The page I need help with: https://downtownpdx.dog/ Hi, please try Load JS Deferred -> delayed best regards, Hi qtwrk, I just tried Load JS Deferred -> delayed, but it broke my website, causing a similar issue with the top menu bar losing its background + distorting the title text. Any other tips are greatly appreciated. Thank you, Richard you may need to find/exclude certain JS from being delayed https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/ts-optimize/#identify-whether-its-a-css-or-javascript-issue Does LiteSpeed offer any paid option for an expert to resolve issues like this and others (defer offscreen images, eliminate render-blocking resources, etc.)? Or, does LiteSpeed recommend any partner company that might? Hi, please check this page best regards,
