Wordpress LScache Plugin: Reduce unused CSS
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello, Sorry Im starting a second thread, I think this is the best way to organize each problem to be addressed. Running tests in PageSpeedInsights, Im getting the following remark Reduce unused CSS that comes from LiteSpeed. I read this thread from just the past month and have tried first with Generate UCSS and afterwards with Guest Mode and Guest Mode Optimization but the issue still pertains. This is the unused CSS: zenlife. bg/wp-content/litespeed/css/64b1ee9b6082136c97f26d0765b7dd3f.css?ver=e7825 (added space between the domain and the domain extension) Im having problems with speed and I need to solve this. Your help is greatly welcome. Thanks in advance. This topic was modified 1 year, 2 months ago by Tishina. Hi, please try CSS combine + Generate UCSS Best regards, Hello, I solved it but I had to use the theme performance options to combine CSS. Strange that when CSS combine is turned on by the plugin, the issue isnt resolved. Mm, actually no ? the issue is back again after running more tests now. Hi, have you tried CSS combine and UCSS ? it may not completely remove all , but should considerably reduce it also the UCSS generation is async and in background , you may need to wait for sometimes to get it generated, you can verify it by dev tool to check if your page only loads 1 CSS file or not Best regards, I see, thanks! Hello, i am also experiencing the similar. I have both guest mode (& guest optimization) both activated, CSS combine & UCSS activated. I see CSS nicely combined in the coverage console, but I dont see any considerable reduction of the unused CSS. In my case only roughly 10% of UCSS is used (ie. 90% is unused), for the front page of my test site vac922884.cf Entire purge of cache doesnt help (and I have waited 10mins for async generation of UCSS). Ive also tried without guest mode ? no difference.
