Wordpress LScache Plugin: Rebuilding UCSS cache
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi, Creating UCSS, in itself a great feature, takes quite some time (and credits) on my WP site with just over 1.000 pages+posts. Over 10.000 pages have to be scanned as blog & tag & category (sub)pages are included and vary mobile and vary webp use different CSS. Scanning seems to happen one at a time (cron task). In my case the combined CSS file on average shrunk from 165KB to 50KB (uncompressed). But half way the scanning of all these URLs I disabled Generate UCSS thinking about what would happen if I were to change 1 (or several) CSS styles that would affect most pages? Purge and start over again? Do I make correct use of this feature? This topic was modified 1 year, 5 months ago by mmwbadmin. The page I need help with: https://www.mmwb.nl Hello @mmwbadmin If you just want to add 1 css style that would affect most pages, I would suggest you to use the CSS Exclude feature in the Tuning tab in the Page Optm menu. This way you dont have to clear all generated UCSS just to include some new things that would be definitely used. Regards, Abe
