Wordpress LScache Plugin: Re-create Webp files of one picture
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello, I re-compressed an original JPG overwriting the file by FTP. Id like to update the WebP and to do that I restored the backup version from Media Library on WordPress. But it didnt work Is there a specific way to re-convert a picture from JPG to WebP? If yes, could you tell me the steps to do it? Thanks a lot. Hi, You can go to Media page , in that image , right-side column , there is an option reset , after you reset it , you can re-optimize it again Best regards, Hi @CacheCrawler, I did for that images, but Im not sure to 100% that it worked. Because the WebP online have still a weight that is relevant respect the new JPGs. Furthermore our last images uploaded seems to be still not optimized. Also if I clicked on re-scan thumbnails: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a1c4pqrdvj0mu40/Safari%20Screenshot%202020-10-19%2009.55.37.jpg What do you suggest?
