Wordpress LScache Plugin: REST Caching not supported by

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi, The plugin WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps) is using the WordPress REST API. With REST API caching enabled in the Litespeed plugin, created maps will not show up in the WordPress admin until 20 minutes later or so. Same problem if deleting maps. Disabling REST API caching solves this. But that means that caching is not available to other (external) services/plugins either. Their support says this: The REST API is used to serve the data from the database and server to the client browser. Thus without using the WordPress REST API, the data would not be retrieved and served to the client browser. Also note that a plugin/application does not need to be external in order to use the REST API. You will need to get in touch with LiteSpeed Cache and request some assistance on how to exclude specific REST Endpoints from being cached. My question: can I finetune REST API caching to disable it for this plugin only, and still have caching for everything else? This topic was modified 5 months, 1 week ago by pete3. please try go to Cache -> Exclude -> Do not cache URI , add the plugins REST API URL there save and purge all Thanks a lot, that made a difference! This is the URL I filled out: ^/wp-json/wpgmza/v1

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
