Wordpress LScache Plugin: Problem with WordPress 5.2.1

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi, all of our websites updated to WP 5.2.1 and all of their images stopped showing. This is because of Litespeed server and plugin, since it doesnt bother with our other Apache servers. If you roll back to WP 5.2 it all gets fixed for now! I found another fix. Just go to Litespeed settings -> CDN and turn OFF the Load JQuery Remotely This fixes the problem with WP 5.2.1 I have problems with both 5.2 and 5.2.1. Both updates override the plug-in functions .. Im curious about your suggestions. Thank you in advance for your support. Guys this is because Google pulled jQuery 1.2.4, as stated on this link https://developers.google.com/speed/libraries/#jquery You could change your jQuery version but I guess for the time being the best solution would be just disable the feature and dont load jQuery from Google libraries. I did, but nothing changed. Hi all, thanks for reporting the issue, please disable Litespeed Cache > Setting > CDN > Load JQuery Remotely temporarily and then purge the cache, the fix will be included in next version, thanks. Hi, the fix is in https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/commit/5f648b47da8624975c4671adf6665d135d57b3de and will be released today in v2.9.8 The problem was fixed with version 2.9.8. We thank you.
