Wordpress LScache Plugin: Problem updating 1.2.2 to 1.2.3!

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hello! Weve been made aware of a problem that some of you are having upgrading our cache plugin. When trying to update from v1.2.2 to v1.2.3, an error causes you to be unable to load any wp-admin pages. This was caused by a compatibility issue with PHP 5.3. Weve fixed the bug and made a new version of the plugin available (v1.2.3.1). Unfortunately, if you have experienced this error, you are still locked out of your WordPress Dashboard. The only way to get back in is to manually delete the plugin. (If you dont know how to do this, please contact your system admin to do it for you!) Once LiteSpeed Cache is deleted, you will be able to get back into wp-admin, but you will no longer have LSCache in your plugin list. Navigate to Plugins > Add New and enter LiteSpeed in the search box. LiteSpeed Cache should be the first result. Press the Install Now button to once again install LSCWP. We sincerely apologize for any extra work this causes you! Please get in touch here if you have any additional problems or questions about this. If you have WHM, you can use force version change to upgrade to v1.2.3.1. If you didnt see v1.2.3.1, you may need to wait at most 24 hours. NOTE: this issue only happened when the PHP version is v5.3. Any version above 5.4 will not cause any problem.

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
