Wordpress LScache Plugin: Pre Download Question

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Good Morning, We have recently migrated to a Litespeed server, where we have been using the Comet Cache plugin historically, and wanted to know if we activate and start using this plugin, will it conflict with Comet Cache, or should we remove the Comet Cache plugin and only run your plugin? Kind Regards, Andy Indepently from LiteSpeed cache plugin it will always cause conflicts if there is more than 1 cache plugin with similiar cache methods in use. LiteSpeed cache plugin is quite different than all other cache plugins for WP. This cache plugin is webserver driven, all others are PHP based. This is a huge difference! LiteSpeed Cache plugin is optimized with the usage in combination with LiteSpeed webserver, so you can expect that is faster than all others and has much more functions for optimizing your WP installation. Thanks @CacheCrawler Really appreciate the feedback. Have noticed this plugin looks pretty good, loaded with lots of great features. One other question we also use the autoptimize plugin. Not sure if you would know if this plugin is ok to run with the Litespeed cache, provided that there are no conflicting settings between the two, e.g: making sure that a particular setting is not duplicated and enabled in both plugins. Kind Regards, Andy we also use the autoptimize plugin Same situation. Remove this plugin to prevent conflicts and btw. it will not work with LScache. Before you start to enable all settings for optimization invest some minutes and read these articles first. https://blog.litespeedtech.com/2020/06/10/wpw-the-beginners-guide-to-litespeed-cache-for-wordpress/ https://blog.litespeedtech.com/2020/07/13/litespeed-cache-for-wordpress-v3-faq/ https://blog.litespeedtech.com/2021/03/08/lscache-profiles-for-wordpress/ https://blog.litespeedtech.com/2021/04/26/improve-page-experience-core-web-vitals/ https://blog.litespeedtech.com/2021/06/01/guest-mode-for-wordpress-in-lscwp-v4-0/ Last but not least: Documentation for LiteSpeed cache plugin https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/ Hi @CacheCrawler, Really appreciate you taking the time to provide such valuable information. Thanks again for all your help! Kind Regards, Andy
