Wordpress LScache Plugin: Post Publish & Image Optimisation
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Ive just been thinking about the best practice on how I publish posts on my site. Ive got the image optimisation set to be processed by cron, but Im thinking that if I upload some images and publish the post the page is going to be cached and the images cached to my cdn before the optimisation process has completed therefore neglecting the benefits of the image optimisation. Would it be best practice to auto publish posts 30 mins later to give the image optimisation process time to run? Hi, that sounds a good idea , but sometimes you cant exactly control how much time it might take to optimize images but yes , this strikes us something we didnt think about before , will see if we can make some good approach for this.
