Wordpress LScache Plugin: Plugin no longer caches homepage

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi there, Ive been using the LS plugin for some time now without any problems whatsoever. I went to set up the Ezoic plugin on my website today and encountered compatibility issues with the LS cache, so I disabled it. After tweaking with other settings I ended up getting rid of the Ezoic plugin as it was causing my website to break in other places and there were just too many issues with it, so I uninstalled it and turned the LS cache back on. Now when I go to crawl my website I can no longer cache the English version of the homepage as the plugin sets it as non-cacheable and blocklists it. Timeout is set to 300. The website is multilingual EN, IT and DE, and the IT and DE homepages are correctly cached so I cant understand why the EN version isnt. I tried to recreate and republish the page to no avail. What gives? Thanks for any help! The page I need help with: http://lingookies.com Found in code of Ezioc plugin: // list of know incompatible plugins for wordpress integration ?. LiteSpeed Cache => array( versions => all, message => Plugin must be disabled to utilize Ezoic without issues or conflicts. Sites can elect to use a whitelisted WP caching plugin however, most WP caching plugins should be disabled when using Ezoics Leap optimization features. Fortunately, Leap replaces all the functionality of these caching plugins and delivers better performance. ), Almost any cache plugin is affected, not only LiteSpeed cache plugin. Thank you. I uninstalled the Ezoic plugin before re-enabling the LS cache, and thats where I noticed that the EN homepage no longer caches. The plugin is no longer there. Check your .htaccess if there are any rules defined by Ezoic plugin and purge the cache. Found the culprit. I turned on debugging and when the crawler came to the homepage it returned this line: [Ctrl] forced no cache [reason] DONOTCACHEPAGE const It looks like the plugin messed up with the Detect Browser Language setting in the PolyLang plugin which in turn was forcing LS cache not to cache the English homepage. I still dont know how it managed to do that as the option has always been disabled but its fixed now! https://wordpress.org/support/topic/polylang-donotcachepage-constant/
