Wordpress LScache Plugin: Please Fix /wp-json/ File error.
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Please fix wp-json 500 error, my site was working fine with old litespeed cache plugin. But after the update site is facing 500 error with wp-json file. I deactivated plugin and error went solved but again when activated plugin the error started happening. So please fix this. Hi, I saw another user who reported same issue , but I can not reproduce it. Is there anyway I can reproduce it ? Best regards, apparently the error is occurring with openlitespeed and the litespeed plugin Hi, I just installed OLS and WP , it is working on my test site. Please provide more detail information on how to reproduce it. Best regards, Im using Digitalocean Openlitespeed one click setup to run my WordPress site. Wp json file returning 500 error for logged out users. See this: https://imgur.com/a/aQzA9O1 While logged in it is responding with 200 normal. If I deactivates the litespeed cache plugin then this problem is not happening. It was working fine a few day ago but this error start happening with recent WordPress update. Google search console is also giving 500 error for wp json, so please fix the issue. See this: https://imgur.com/a/EAatAu1 Thanks! Hi, I just launched a DO droplet with OLS WP image , but can not reproduce the issue. Could you please try disable all other plugins and only leave LSCWP enabled , see if it gives the error ? and please check /usr/local/lsws/logs/stderr.log and see if there is anything. if not, also please enable PHP error_log , see if PHP outputs anything. Best regards, I tried to disable all plugins except LSCWP and still it is not working. And I activated all plugins and deactivated LSCWP and then problem solved. I checked check /usr/local/lsws/logs/stderr.log but didnt find any recent error. Found an option in litespeed cache plugin name: Cache REST API. It is On and if I Turned Off the option then problem is not happening. https://imgur.com/a/9BmeAmW I think something is conflicting in this option. Thanks. Hi, Please submit a ticket here We will investigate it further. Best regards, Had this issue too To fix it, go to LiteSpeed Cache > Cache and disable the Cache REST API calls. Also, @CacheCrawler you wont be able to reproduce it locally, you need to run a DigitalOcean instance ( for example ) with OLS and OLS Cache enabled.
