Wordpress LScache Plugin: Page cache is Not detected and the server response time is slow

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hello, I Updated my wordpress to 6.1.1 a day ago and now I have a critical error on my wordpress site health status that I want to get rid off. The error lists the following points: ??? Median server response time was 637 milliseconds. It should be less than the recommended 600 milliseconds threshold. No client caching response headers were detected. A page cache plugin was not detected ??? I already have litespeed setup but apparently this new WOrdpress version doesnt see it and to solve the issue, wordpress suggests either W3 Total Cache OR Super Cache. I think Litespeed is the best, but apprently its not supported by wordpress hence its suggesting to replace it by the other 2 options. My question is : is there any settings I need to do on litespeed pluging to remove this error?? How to remove this error? Thank you. The page I need help with: https://www.habiboto.com https://wordpress.org/support/topic/page-caching-not-detected/ the warning happens because health tool doesnt check our headers, which we will add it in next release via custom filter the second issue , because your server is running on Apache , LSCWPs cache engine is built-in on webserver, therefore it requires LiteSpeed websever to work , otherwise you will only have otimization feature, but not caching feature There is already another cache plugin (W3 Total Cache) running. Thank you for your feedback. Im testing W3 Total cache in the meantime, hence it shows up. But I had before only LSC. To be Frank, The performance of W3 Total cache is slightly better than LSC after many tests with (GTmetrix, webpagetest and pagespeed). Thank you. yeah , because if you are not using litespeed webserver, then you are literally comparing a cached page vs not cached page , the response time will have huge impact on this matter

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
