Wordpress LScache Plugin: New update breaks Login with ajax widget
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 After updating to the newest version 1.0.8, the login with ajax widget on my site is broke, tried disabling litespeed cache and it works again. https://wordpress.org/plugins/litespeed-cache/ Seems to have been resolved by disabling and enabling the cache again, might have been a problem with the cached site Hi Fuskeren, Thanks for reporting this possible issue. Which plugin are you using to add the login widget? Well take a look at it anyway to make sure theres no problems. Cheers, Kevin Here you go https://da.wordpress.org/plugins/login-with-ajax/ Thanks, will look into it! Hi Litespeed, I can now tell that it has happened again, once i disable litespeed it goes back to normal. I should tell that i have everything but /forums cached + the widget is located on all pages. -Mads Hi Mads, Could you elaborate on how it breaks? Does it prevent you from logging in? For now, in the LiteSpeed settings, if you disable the Enable Cache for Login Page option, your issue should be resolved. Kevin Mads, So you are aware, I did not find the problem with this plugin yet, so once I get some feedback from you, hopefully I will be able to get closer to the problem. Hi, It breaks functionality in a way, that it tries to login, refreshes page but does not login. I think it could have to do with that i have both widget and a javascript popup with the same code. -Mads Mads, Could you elaborate on your sites setup? You mentioned caching everything except /forums. Is /forums another cms, or is it just bbPress? Kevin Also, what settings are you using for login-with-ajax? Hi Kevin, If you can provide me with an email, i can set up a test enviroment with the same settings? -Mads here it is: kfwu at litespeedtech dot com Hi Mads, Have you made any progress on this? I did not receive any emails yet.
