Wordpress LScache Plugin: Navigation broken ? Jetpack related

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Symptom: When navigating to home, to a page or post, a blank page is shown and loading spinner spins forever. When inspecting html source, only the Jetpack stats link of the toolbar is present. If I reload, no change. If I press enter in the address bar, the page shows. New navigation repeats the problem. I have a multisite with mostly separate domains. Jetpack is network activated. I have used LScache for years now, few problems, except when trying out aggressive optimisation of CSS/JS. Today I added a new site. All fine. Then I connected Jetpack and activated (only) site stats. The the described symptom started for logged in administrator. No problems when logged out or for visitors. Browsers tried: Firefox, Chrome, Edge. All same behaviour. What did not help, same symptom: Disabling cache in LScahce settings (!) Turning caching on or off for logged in users Turning off, or set to default/recommend all switches on Optimise and Tuning tabs Turning on or off browser caching (as set in .htaccess) Disabling all plugins except Jetpack and LScache Purging LSCache Deleting browser cache After 8 hours of debugging, investigating and testing, and Im quite experienced in such, I found that the following actions, just one of them enough, solved it: 1. Deactivating LScache 2. Disconnecting Jetpack 3. Deactivating Stats module in Jetpack 4. Removing option Put a chart showing 48 hours of views in the admin bar. under Jetpack Stats configuration 5. Disable All Features under Debug 6. Enable ESI in Lscache, but then the Stats link in admin bar is not showing, despite enabled in Jetpack None of the above is done on other sites in same multisite network, but it works fine there. What is going on, and what is so special about the Jetpack stats link? This topic was modified 4 years, 4 months ago by Knut Sparhell. This topic was modified 4 years, 4 months ago by Knut Sparhell. I just setup a WP with jetpack and lscwp but seems unable to reproduce it. Meanwhile could you please provide the report number ? Best regards Report number: MEVFLJOV New site on multisite, separate domain, Jetpack network activated, siste stats and 48 hour link in toolbar (standard option, on). I can reproduce it either, on other sites, just this one. Some optimizing seems to be on even if turned off, sine the debug thing fixes it. I can live with it, since I found a solution, finally. But reported, for the record. Hi, When you experience blank page , could you please screenshot me the http header response ? best regards Hi, @knutsp Im going to mark this topic as resolved due to lack of activity. Its great that you were able to find a solution. Would you be willing to share it here for those who might be having the same problem? Lisa
