Wordpress LScache Plugin: More info on Image Optimization?
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 The increasing number of cool features in the LiteSpeed Cache Plugin?! ? Its simply amazing. Thanks for making my sites faster than ever Now, the new Image Optimization sound intriguing. Iv enabled it on a small site https://smartencity.dk/ and ? maybe it works, maybe it doesnt I sort of miss a bit more info on what kind and how media is compressed. Is there a log maybe? An article with before/after images? Kind regards Bjarne Hi, Bjarne I have a blog post planned sometime after the next update is released, and I plan to update the wiki as well. There will be more information available soon. For now I can tell you that the images are optimized using a library called imagick and they are saved at 85%-90% of their original quality. The original is saved along with the optimized copy, so it is possible to revert if you are dissatisfied with the results. We have a tool for that coming soon. Thats all Ive got for now. More later!
