Wordpress LScache Plugin: Mobile view is being sent to desktops, and vice-versa
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi, this plugin makes sites faster for sure. But Im facing an issue. The LiteSpeed Cache plugin is recording any specific view and sending that to the public visitors. For example, after a cache cleanup, if I visit a page from a mobile, the plugin records that view. After that, even if I visit that page from a desktop, LiteSpeed Cache sends that cached mobile view to the desktop. I tried turning on the Mobile Cache option in LiteSpeed Cache, but that didnt solve this issue. How can I fix it? Please let me know. Thanks, Arafat The page I need help with: https://banglatech24.com/ Hi, Could you please enable LSCWP for moment , and do me a screenshot the correct mobile page and incorrect mobile page ? and also please provide the report number , you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click send to LiteSpeed Best regards, Hi, Ive sent the report. Please check the screenshot here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1F3zcrC2SY3wsVrSHjDwhm6xr3ou7cn8M/view?usp=sharing After purging the whole LS cache using the toolbox, I visited the homepage from PC for once. Then it recorded the PC version of the homepage. When I visited the homepage from my mobile, the LS Cache plugin sent me the previously recorded PC version on mobile! There are different ad placements on PC and mobile devices. Since LS Cache records the first view, so whatever the first device is, it sends everyone that recorded view. That is why PCs are getting the mobile version and mobiles are getting PC versions- just depending on which device is accessing a page for the first time when there was no cache of that page. I hope I was able to make it clear. Please let me know how to solve this. Thanks. Hi, once you sent report , it will generate you a 8-digital string, please post that string Best regards, Hi qtwrk, I got this info there- Report number: QAPMTSGZ I hope this is what you meant. Thanks for your help. Regards. Hi, are you sure you have enabled mobile cache ? the report says otherwise Best regards, Hi, I tried by enabling Mobile Cache but the result was same. Any specific guideline for enabling the Mobile Cache setting? For example: any tweak for the agent section? Please suggest if any. Thanks. okay enable mobile cache then please check in your .htaccess , you see ### marker MOBILE start ### RewriteCond % HTTP_USER_AGENT Mobile|Android|Silk/|Kindle|BlackBerry|Opera Mini|Opera Mobi [NC] RewriteRule . - [E=Cache-Control:vary=ismobile] ### marker MOBILE end ### Hi, yes, I can see those in the .htaccess file after enabling mobile cache. The above code in the .htaccess file disappears if I disable mobile cache option. If I enable mobile cache, then the plugin seems to become much unstable. It always sends the PC version to the mobile browser. So I disabled the mobile cache option. Your plugin also says that this option is not applicable for responsive sites. My site is responsive, so it should not be using the Mobile Cache option according to your plugins settings. Thanks. as you are using OpenLiteSpeed, please enable mobile cache , then RESTART OpenLiteSpeed the mobile cache vary rule will NOT take effect until you restart OLS Hi, it seems to be working after a quick test. I will observe the situation. Thanks for your continued support It would be great if your team mentions Server Restart Recommended beside the mobile cache setting switch. Just a suggestion. Regards. Hi, Yeah well , its one of the thing for OLS , assuming OLS user would know it requires restart for .htaccess. but yes, it is good suggestion , i will forward it to our devs. Best regards, Thanks.
