Wordpress LScache Plugin: Memcached Issue
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 I really loved when saw object cache in 1.8.1 Well, i did the update and i already have memcached installed in server. Extension enabled, connection test passed After a few hours i noticed a lot of misconfigurations in my server. There were websites redirecting to another or showing some css from another website. I had to disable memcached for now and clear all object cache. I believe some how its not getting blog id so creates this miscellaneous. I tried to check everything i could in memcached config. Still dont know how to use this. Maybe ill try lsmcd or redis. But ill be glad if support could assist me. Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience, you are right , it was due to multiple wordpress sites sharing same data if they have access to same memcached. This shall be fixed in next release, meanwhile you can overwrite /wp-content/plugins/litespeed-cache/inc/object.lib.php with the one in GitHub that is already implemented fix https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/blob/443c35f5be4f8d944b724a42dd9c7b367a5255d4/litespeed-cache/inc/object.lib.php Meanwhile if you wish to disable object cache, please disable it in setting and remove /wp-content/object-cache.php Best regards. Thank you for the answer @CacheCrawler . It really helps. Hope next update come soon.
