Hi, Report number: DZFDJYKI Report date: 12/29/2018 18:02:55 The server has memcache enabled However the plugin reports that Memcached Extension: Disabled Redis Extension: Disabled Connection Test: Not Available Atm we are using default configs ? yet no avail. Note: This is also the same on other websites hosted on same server. But the service is definetly up and running. The page I need help with: https://animekaizoku.com The check is for the php module memcached which is required to integrate with the memcached service. To work with the memcached service you will need to install memcached php module. Which control panel does the server use? Hi, Please be aware, there are 2 modules memcache (without D at end) and memcached (with D at end) , they are different thing , dont mistake them to each other. you should create a phpinfo page , to check either memcached module is loaded. Best regards, It is loaded. But ill double check this just to be sure. Hi, Please create a phpinfo , and it should have screenshot like this to indicates the memcached is loaded. https://i.imgur.com/0JFhhM0.jpg Best regards, is there any advantage to enabling memcached? Problem : we are slightly facing some load by mysql process and would like to work on that. Hi, memcached will help a bit , but main part is still need to optimize the database, but for that you may need to hire a DBA Best regards, Our host says we need to disable litespeed cache to use memcached Can you guys expand on this? lease note that the Memchaced has enabled on the mentioned domain and if you want to enable lightspeed cache, you may need to disable Memcached. Im lost Hi, No , memcached can be used as part of object cache feature of LSCWP. Best regards, 1) ? Can Memcached and Redis run at the same time ? 2) ? Is Redis better than Memcached ? Hi, 1. on server side , yes, they can run at same time , but on LSCWP side , you can only choose one of them at same time. 2. I would say its circumstantial, depends on your usage. Best regards, What are the advantages of using one over the other ? Same here, but the hosting says that is enabled. I also checked it in PHP selector

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
