Lscache slow initial load

Wordpress LScache Plugin: Lscache slow initial load

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi, Im using Litespeed (not ols). Since WordPress 5.5 update (5.5.1 now) initial load is super slow around 10 sec. but only with an active LSchace plugin. When is Lschache off its just slow (slow because its a big woocommerce site with lots of plugins, 20k+ products and Im still working on optimizing and obviously missing caching?) but doesnt have this big lag at the beginning like with LScache active. I also notice that the Query monitor is not working(since 5.5 update) when ESI is active and the page is containing javascript. (Even when is only Query monitor an LScache active, so it does not conflict with others) I believe its some java issue Also tried Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin ? no effect? BTW I have all caching and minifying options disabled.. Thank you in advance This topic was modified 2 years, 2 months ago by dakbooost. The page I need help with: http://supplyhouse.dk Hi, BTW I have all caching and minifying options disabled.. could you please try reset to default setting ? Best regards, Hi qtwrk, Thank you. I did as you said and reset the settings, which actually work in the way that now Im sure that Active ESI is the problem? Do you have some updated documentation or link in mind that I should use to troubleshoot ESI otherwise I will just google? And if you have some updated documentation or link in mind that I should use to troubleshoot wc-ajax=get_refreshed_fragments site.com/?wc-ajax=get_refreshed_fragments https://imgur.com/sieFrFq if not, its fine I can google?:) Hi, If your page has a multiple ESI block in it , then yes , it could slow things down for your second question ,please chekc this https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-why-how-to-disable-ajax-cart-fragments/ Best regards, Thank you qtwrk but unfortunately, I have still a similar problem. My initial load taking almost 10 sec in the browser, but on gtmetrix.com its showing +- 200ms. Caching is on? Trying to fix it several days and tried almost everithing? Start happening after wordpress update 5.5 https://files.slack.com/files-pri/T3RDNH89L-F01ARREUMSM/image.png https://files.slack.com/files-pri/T3RDNH89L-F01ARRGC89X/image.png Btw, Report number: TXEMOJLZ with passwordless link if somebody will have time to look :] Hi, Are you actually loading same page ???? in your browser, it shows main request 1.9MB , but in GT, it shows 31KB and what is the response header you see on both case ? Best regards, Yes, is the same page, home page https://supplyhouse.dk ? Looks like GT is getting a cached page but the browser for some reason not? Response headers:https://files.slack.com/files-pri/T3RDNH89L-F01AA6RH23F/image.png https://files.slack.com/files-pri/T3RDNH89L-F01A6H9BP0W/image.png can free memory be a problem why Im getting inconsistent cache hits? https://files.slack.com/files-pri/T3RDNH89L-F01AEK626FL/image.png Hi, No , that is PHPs opcache , not LiteSpeed Cache , and LiteSpeed Cache uses disk to store cache files I see you have submit a ticket already , and this wiki could be helpful for you Best regards,
