Wordpress LScache Plugin: Lscache / Secupress
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello I have a wordpress hosted at O2Switch which offers Litespeed services and therefore the Ls Cache plugin. I also use Secupress for site security. I was wondering if the compatibility was good. I have no problem except one (possibly related): The rewriting of Htacess to protect the read.txt and changelog files. Is it crashing because of a compatibility issue with Secupress or has it nothing to do with it? The answer here is ambiguous (in french sorry) https://fr.docs.secupress.me/articl?les-types-de-serveurs-comme-apache-iis7-ngnix For me, O2switch is on Apache and offers the Litespeed service via the Lscache plugin, is that right? Hi, for security plugin that locks .htaccess, you can try disable that plugin , configure LSCWP, then after configuration is done , then re-lock .htaccess O2Switch has some kind of weird set up , if I remember it correctly , it is set up like Nginx ? LiteSpeed ADC ? Apache Best regards, Thank you for your reply. But sorry, I think I misspoke, its the other way around. The security plugin (Secupress) should be able to rewrite the Htacess automatically (via the plugin) but obviously, it cant and does not work and I was wondering if it could be linked to the LsCache plugin? For O2switch I actually think this is an Apache server (I do not know more ?) Hi, No , LSCWP doesnt lock anything Yes, O2switch has multiple layer set up ? its kind of weird though. Best regards, Ok, thank you for your quick answer! Best regards
LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
