Wordpress LScache Plugin: Logged in user gets cached version

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
I have been using WP Fastest Cache but since I am on a Litespeed server I thought I would test the plugin. But I am seeing an issue where after login I am still seeing the site as if I was not logged in (no admin bar and my menu login button says log in and not log out). I am logged in since I have no problem going to wp-admin without doing a login. I have disabled Cache Logged-in Users in the litespeed cache options. Any ideas or steps to debug what is going on? Hi, @boborg. One possibility: Look in Settings > General and confirm that your WordPress Address URL is exactly correct. This includes the http/https part. Ive seen sites behave the way you describe when its listed as http but was actually using https. If thats not it, can you supply your URL so we can have a look at the cache headers? (or, use this wiki to verify them for yourself). Let us know how it goes! P.S. I forgot to thank you for trying LiteSpeed! Welcome aboard Thanks for your reply. I do have https on at the backend (wp admin) and regular http on the front end (WordPress Address URL set to http). So I guess that could be the reason. I will try disabling https on admin and check. Hi I have the same behavior as Im logged as an admin in the WordPress dashboard: I see the optimized version? when I look at my source code while Im logged in, I see my html code compressed, and also: ?../min/3aaa5.js ?../min/0981a.css The WordPress Address (URL) in Settings > General is correct and is: https://www.philippebonnard.fr/ I have test LiteSpeed cache plugin with 2 others websites and I have the same issue. I check the cache headers with your Wiki: When Im logged in: date Fri, 20 Oct 2017 11:24:05 GMT content-type text/html charset=UTF-8 cache-control no-cache, must-revalidate, max-age=0 cf-railgun c707b0f221 stream 0.000000 0210 e6be expires Wed, 11 Jan 1984 05:00:00 GMT link rel=preload as=script referrer-policy strict-origin-when-cross-origin strict-transport-security max-age=63072000 includeSubdomains preload x-content-type-options nosniff x-frame-options SAMEORIGIN x-litespeed-cache hit, private x-turbo-charged-by LiteSpeed x-xss-protection 1 mode=block server cloudflare-nginx cf-ray 3b0b9bd5993c150f-CDG content-encoding gzip X-Firefox-Spdy h2Expand When Im not logged in: cf-h2-pushed:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, cf-railgun:432b37a941 stream 0.000000 0200 e6be cf-ray:3b0b8c3b4d1c6950-CDG content-encoding:gzip content-type:text/html charset=UTF-8 date:Fri, 20 Oct 2017 11:13:26 GMT link: rel=shortlink link: rel=https://api.w.org/ referrer-policy:strict-origin-when-cross-origin server:cloudflare-nginx status:200 strict-transport-security:max-age=63072000 includeSubdomains preload x-content-type-options:nosniff x-frame-options:SAMEORIGIN x-litespeed-cache:hit x-turbo-charged-by:LiteSpeed x-xss-protection:1 mode=block Expand Thanks Hi, @pako69 Would you mind terribly, posting this question in its own topic, since I think its a different issue, and this one is already resolved. Thank you, and apologies for the inconvenience! Yes of course > https://wordpress.org/support/topic/i-get-optimized-version-while-im-logged-in/
