Wordpress LScache Plugin: Load JS Deferred Freezes Beaver Builders Menu on Mobile
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi When setting Load JS Deferred to ON and Exclude JQuery to OFF, the mobile menu in our Beaver Builder website freezes (in most pages). How can we solve this issue? Should we ask the BB team which file/s we need to exclude in the Tuning tab? We really want to keep this setting since it speeds up our website significantly. Thank youThis topic was modified 3 years, 10 months ago by veganmango. There are lots of plugins that are not using document.ready syntax to write their JS inline code. Thats why we currently suggested keep Exclude JQuery ON. We had a todo to improve this compatibility to be able to get Exclude JQuery OFF. Excluding other JS from deferred equals Exclude JQuery ON. They will all slow down the loading time unfortunately. Thank you very much for your prompt response. As you mentioned, setting Exclude JQuery ON while Load JS Deferred is ON slows down our website. So for now, well settle for not loading JS deferred while keeping Exclude JQuery ON. If you think/sense we have a better alternative, well be happy to know. Thank you for creating such a wonderful plugin. You can try keep Load JS Deferred (to prevent other JS slow down page loading) and Exclude JQuery ON (to improve compatibility issue of other plugins) too. Thank you. This option actually slows down our website, Im not sure why. For now well keep only Exclude JQuery ON. After performing some more tests, the best option for our website seems to be: JS Combine OFF Load JS Deferred ON Exclude JQuery OFF Setting JS Combine to OFF prevents the initial menu issue and almost doesnt have any negative impact on the load time. Just updating that my last solution worked initially but now it doesnt. I dont know why yesterday the menu seemed to work fine when setting the JS Combine to OFF, maybe a caching issue. Hi, Could you please submit a ticket ? Best regards, Thank you, I just did (ticket #189085).
