Litespeed Cache not Recognising CDN

Wordpress LScache Plugin: Litespeed Cache not Recognising CDN

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi guys, Ive just joined up with a host that supports Litespeed Cache, so this was the first thing I thought Id check out on one of my test websites. SOME of the speed test results are outstanding, whereas SOME of them are quite poor, but the thing thats got everyone puzzled is this refusal to acknowledge that a CDN is being used on the WebPageTest results. For info: using Cloudflare with its API key, and the CDN settings turned OFF as per the instructions. Phoned my host up and they couldnt find any semblance of code in the source to suggest that a CDN was being used, and the WebPageTest results, whilst giving near enough straight As across the board, gave an X (effective use of a CDN) instead of a green Tick as seen here: https://www.webpagetest.org/result/190530_1Y_485b82d54ec234eceef6d6eca97b65a3/ If I swap over to another caching plugin, the CDN is instantly recognised by WebPageTest. So I suppose the question is then ? why is there no CDN recognised either in my source code or in speed tests when using Litespeed? The page I need help with: https://www.thisisnottingham.org Hi, If you test it from other node , it shows CDN Maidenhead, UK https://www.webpagetest.org/result/190530_4M_7077aba5abd345b233616d7cefea9eca/ London, UK https://www.webpagetest.org/result/190530_WJ_0cc81ab8ec94af56adbfd17a8b6d8bae/ But without know how webpagetest.org checks or determinates the CDN is being used, we couldnt tell why it says no CDN. Id suggest you open a post in webpagetest forum for this because the CDN result from different nodes dont consist. Best regards, Indeed, just tried it from London and the CDN shows up fine. Cloudflare probably got waylaid somewhere across the Pennines ? either that, or as you said ? they need to sort their nodes out. Thanks for the help!
